Duolingo is the World’s #1 language learning app. providing free access to language education across the globe. With their gamified way of learning they have been able to gain over 300 million users worldwide. For New Years 2019 they wanted to increase their app downloads through a paid social media campaign. We wanted to highlight the reasons and benefits to learning a language, especially during the time of year when people are making resolutions to better themselves. We focused primarily on the idea of consuming education and better content, verses mindlessly consuming social media.
